It is 12:45

At 12:45 this morning I was awakened by a little voice saying, "Can I have this?" as she was putting something in my hand. I felt it and deciphered that it was a yogurt drinkable. She was thirsty, so she had gone into the kitchen, opened the fridge and got the only drink that she could fix herself. Poor thing. I told her that it was still bedtime and we could not have the yogurt. So we walked to the kitchen and put it up and as we were leaving the kitchen she was asking for milk. She was just thirsty. I fixed her a glass of water. She drank and drank until she was satisfied and then I took her back to bed. I wake up in the middle of the night thirsty sometimes so I know how she feels. All she wanted was a drink.

I think I remember putting a glass of water by the bed of three children because they got thirsty at night. Such memories.
