We did not get to truly go trick or treating. Riley started crying at the dinner table after being excited about it all day and started saying that she did not want to go. Well, some friends were expecting us so we thought once we started she would have fun. We were wrong. She ended up falling asleep as we headed to the second stop. When we got home she was running fever. Poor girl, she was in bed asleep at 7:00 and is still asleep. She is awake now and running 101 temp.
Josey however, was so adorable last night. She was just along for the ride and as happy as could be.
Riley went to school as a scarecrow yesterday, but came home as a cat. Her teacher was a cat and painted Riley's nose and gave her wiskers. Riley likes dressing up and pretending, so maybe in future years she will really enjoy Halloween.

That's too bad Riley didn't have much fun. I'm glad you're still putting the strawberry costume to good use.
