Today I will be getting ready for Josey's one year birthday party. We were scheduled to have it the day after Thanksgiving so we could celebrate with family, but as you can read that did not turn out so well. We decided to have her party this evening. I have some running around to do today to get everything finalized and a house to clean, but I will get it all done and I hope that Josey will have a good time tonight. She is feeling so much better. I spent about an hour and a half decorating her cake last night. Cake decorating is not my specialty. I will say that cake is made with lots of love and a hand cramp. It was fun and it turned out better than I expected. Riley was a big help making sure she licked the icing off of my finger. She kept pointing out when I would get some on my hand. It was so cute. Well, I am off to take Riley to school.

You did a great job on the cake. I remember traveling this time last year and seeing our sweet Josey for the first time and Riley telling saying,"Gramme I like Josey." My heart will be there this evening. Once again. Good Job. love you,
Wow! How did you do that? That cake looks so cute! It may not be your speciality but it's way better than what I can do. Can't wait to see pictures of how Josey handled that cake. It made my mouth water.
Yes, you are talented at cake decorating. You should start your own business. The pig for Riley's 1st b-day was good too, but this one looks more complicated. Happy birthday Josey.
I always loved making the cakes even tho it was time consuming and did cramp the hands...was just telling a friend that seems not many moms are making bday cakes anymore - you go girl!!!!don't stop.
