Well, we are looking forward to our time with family next week. We were going to leave on Friday if all goes as planned to see some of Joey's friends in the Dallas area. They have a new baby boy. I am not sure now what the plan is going to be. Riley is sick. I took her to the Dr. today and she has strep throat. I asked the dr. if we could have something for Josey too since we were leaving town. He said yes, and to go ahead and give it to her and it should keep her from really getting it. So, Joey has been not up to par the last day or so. I called our dr. and he gave us some medicine as well. We really don't want anyone to get sick when we see our friends and family. I have read up and it says that 24 hours after starting an antibiotic you should no longer be contagious. So I am not sure if our plans will change or not.
But don't worry, we will all be A OKAY when we see all of you.
Tonight I am supposed to be feeding all of the teens that come to our Bible study. I called my good buddy Cindy to see if I should cancel. I just don't want anyone to get sick. She said no, which I am glad because I have already made two huge lasagnas. She said that she would come and keep the girls in Riley's room to keep them out of everyone's face. I have been disinfecting the house. So I guess we will never know if it makes anyone sick because tonight is that last Bible study at our house and we are leaving town. :)
Oh, for those who have asked about what I am going to be teaching. Cindy and I are co-teaching a class for 10-12 grade girls. I have written six of the lessons and Cindy has written the other six. I will be teaching on self image, parent-teen relationships, Words and how we use them, Entertainment, Dating and God's views on sex. Loaded topics, but I just hope that the girls get something out of it. So you can pray for me, that God uses me to reach these girls and say the things that they are needing to hear.
This is a wordy post so I will be done for now.

I hope the girls get to feeling better quickly. I know you will do great with your lessons.
I like wordy posts and you will almost definately have discussion with the topics you have. 10-12th grade girls are actually pretty nice because they are a bit more mature and want to learn and I'm sure they look up to you. We are at a good age to teach that age group because we are old enough to know, but still young enough to relate. Good luck!
Sorry to hear that Riley is sick...maybe she'll keep it to herself.
I am sure that you and Cindy will do a wonderful job. I know God will continue to use ya'll for His service. Keep us updated on how it goes. I am really liking this blog stuff, helps me keep in touch with everyone I think about but I don't get to see!!!
