We survived
Today was Riley's first day at Carpenter's Kids and she did okay. She did not want to go in and I had to pick her up by one arm and just drop her off crying, but once she was in the room she was fine. She stopped crying immediately and Josey and I left. We had to run some errands and then we came home and took a nap. Josey decided that she did not want to sleep last night. I have still not figured out why. So finally after laying on my chest beginning at 10 and me bouncing her at 2 I was able to lay her down. She slept until 4:30 and I nursed her a little and she went back to sleep until about 6. Needless to say we needed a nap and I could use another, but that is not going to happen. When we went to pick Riley up she was smiling and having fun playing. Once she gets used to it we will have no problems. I asked her if she wanted to go back on Thursday and she said yes so that is a good thing.

Yeah! I am so glad it went well. We thought about you a lot today hoping that it wasn't too traumatic. I bet it made one baby seem like a piece of cake! Maybe I'll get to do that one day with Elle but it costs $$$$ that we don't have right now! Oh well!
Yeah Emma, cause you spent it all on clothes. Riley, what's up with you not returning phone calls? I'm glad you had a good day. Kellen's first day of school was yesterday too, and he had fun and didn't eat too much play-doh. Love, Lesley
well I guess I could have sent her on to tues/thurs school but then she would have been arrested when it got cooler for indecent exposure!
Lesley, Riley was going to call you back last night, but then things got a little crazy. She said, I need to call Aunt Lesley, but she was getting into the bath tub. We are going to try to call this afternoon.
It's okay, I know sometimes Riley doesn't feel like talking and that's cool. She had a long day yesterday.
