This IS going to be fun, right?
Today we went to College church of Christ to meet Riley's teachers and see her classroom where she will go to "school". Let's just say that she started crying and pulling herself back to the van before we even got half way across the parking lot. Then she was fine until we started to go to the classroom after a general meeting with everyone. She wanted nothing to do with anything or anyone in the room. She cried and cried. Josey loved it and got down and started playing. Eventually Riley and I did a couple of puzzles and used the potty, but she was ready to leave. I know that it will take a bit, but I hope that she really likes it. I think that she will if she will just give it a chance. She has to. I paid $165 so she will like. We will see how things go on Tuesday, the offical first day.

It seems my little school girl may not like school?? I think she will do well after she gets used to it. It may be hard getting used to being away from Mom, but she'll do fine.
Love you
I'm sure Riley will like it. It's just human nature that she is nervous because she doesn't know anybody but once she gets used to it and makes friends she'll love it. I think I heard that on Dr. Phil.
I'm thinking it will be harder for you than her. At least that's how it usually is. Your child makes a huge scene and freaks out, and you leave, but what you don't realize is that by the time you get back to your car they are perfectly fine and you are the one now making a huge scene and freaking out because of how much you want to go get them! :) I can't wait to hear how it all goes. She is really an independent little girl so I'm sure she'll be fine after a few minutes.
