Memorial Day Weekend

Joey worked out of town the week of memorial day weekend so I decided to be brave and drive to see my family. The girls and I took off on Thursday morning and drove to Dad's. He and Carolyn took care of the kids a lot while I got a break. They took them to the Discovery Museum and the girls had so much fun. I meanwhile was treated to a facial and just relaxed. Thanks.
Then on Saturday we went to Chuck E Cheeses and then headed to Mom's for naps. We woke up on Sunday and drove to Grapeland for my Mom's family reunion. Riley had a blast with Kelly, my cousin. He carried her a mile in the heat to see the beaver dam and then a mile back. They were so sweaty and she was so proud of it. Friday we were driving in the car and she asked, "when am I going to see my friend Kelly again? Remember when he carried me to see the beaver home and we got sweaty and I had to change clothes?" Thanks Kelly for making memories with Riley you are on her list of favorite people. I would have a picture of Kelly with Riley, but I seem to have deleted the email with the pictures so Celia can you send that email to me again?
The trip was good and it was nice to see everyone. Thanks to Mom and Dad and Carolyn for helping with the girls and giving me a break.
Being Nurses. They think they are pros at this since they have their own real baby.Can't wait to be sixteen. Oh, I don't even want to think about it.
