Joey and I are celebrating our anniversary today. Seven years I married my best friend. Over the past seven years he has become a wonderful husband, and amazing father and the spiritual leader of our family. I am truly blessed to have married him seven years ago. A lot has happened over the last seven years. We have done lots of laughing and crying and leaning on the Lord. God has blessed us with three beautiful and healthy girls. We have owned two homes and are about to make big changes in our living arrangements and we know that will only allow us to grow closer to each other. Joey is able to build just about anything and can I say that does come in handy. When we move he will once again put that talent to use in building me some counter space since the apartment has NONE. All of us girls are so excited when he gets home from work. He is just a lot of fun to be around. I look forward to a night out with no children so we can actually talk with no interruptions.
So basically I love you Joey and I am thankful for the last seven years and I look forward to the next sixty or so.

Emily, I agree that Joey is an exceptional young man. He has become better over the years as he has matured. I attribute much of that to the woman he married. I knew from the beginning that you were exceptional in many ways and that you would positively impact his life. I am thankful for the both of you and may you both have many more years of happiness together.

I have found it funny that people talk about the "7 year itch"....I guess I had it..... I "itched" to be closer to David even more than on our wedding day! :) Glad that you have found that to be true too! :)Congrats!
