Leaving Goat Island

I had a great time on my road trip, but I am so thankful to be home with my family safe and sound. We left Searcy at about 5:30 on Thursday evening. We arrived in Columbus, Ohio at about 6:30 am and stopped at a hotel and took showers and rested for about one and a half hours. We proceeded on to New York arriving at our hotel at about 2:00. We saw the falls from the American side then we crossed the border to the Canadian side. We saw the illumination of the falls which I did not really get a very good picture. I am sure someone did and i will be able to share later. God is amazing. The Falls are so huge and beautiful. It was still really cold so there was lots of ice still there.

It looks like a fun trip! I'm sure the views were breathtaking! You look like one of the girls,Emily!!! Not a day older than 22! I'm glad your trip was safe and you are home with your girls.

I'm jealous! I am glad you had a good time and that Riley didn't burn the house down. :)

I'll bet Joey and the girls were just as happy to see you. Nothing like being home. I'm glad you had a good time. Maybe someday Mamaw and I can go up there. It looks so beautiful. That sure is a lot of water.

what pretty pictures. I don't know how you sat in the car that long, but it looks like you had good company to pass the time. Glad you made it home safely.
