I am so thankful for the family that I have. I have a wonderful husband and two wonderful little girls. We had a good weekend. Joey and Riley had a date and they had a wonderful time. They went out to eat, to a basketball game, to get ice cream and then to Hastings to read books under the big tree. She had a blast and so did her daddy. I had a function, so Josey and I went to the Mystery Date Progressive Dinner. It was good, but we had to come home early to get her in bed. I am also thankful that my husband is not in the military. There is a couple at church in our young marrieds class who are going to be apart for almost a year. He was supposed to leave in six to nine weeks, but they found out that he has to leave on Thursday morning. They have not even been married a year. I just cannot imagine being apart from my husband. So please keep the Sexton's in your prayers. It will be hard on both of them. Pray for his safe and speedy return to her.
This week is going to be a busy one. I have to clean my house today and cook dinner for several of the girls in the club. We have started a monthly birthday dinner. Since we started a little late we are having to double up on months. So that will be fun and then we have a meeting afterwards.
We put in more gravel in the playground. So Joey and I shoveled gravel this weekend which makes a tired and sore back, but it is worth it. Okay, that is all I have to get to work on my to do list for the day. It is a long one and I have a feeling things will have to be carried over to tomorrow.
