Will it ever end?

Okay, so today Lucy is 7 months old and we celebrated by taking her to the ER this morning at 4 am. At about 10 she started coughing and I went in to check on her. I got her settled down and back to sleep, but at 1 she was really struggling to breath. Joey and I gave her some of Josey's inhaler from when Josey had RSV. That seemed to work for a bit, but at 4 she woke up again and her chest was going in when she was trying to breath. We called our wonderful friend Cindy and she came to stay with the older kiddos. What a gal. That is two Friday night/Saturday mornings in a row that she has come to the rescue. So after a breathing treatment and a steroid shot we came home. No RSV thankfully, but she has Croup. Pray that she can rest and recover. So just a little update on how she is doing otherwise....she is crawling and pulling to a stand which means many bumps on the head, she is still spitting up a lot and we go back to the Dr for that on Tuesday. She is really a happy kid and loves to get into everything. She enjoys eating and you better watch your food because she will have her hand in it in 0.2 seconds.
On the other hand, Joey's trip to the Dr. did not go exactly the way we had hoped. We are waiting to hear back from them to see when his CT scan is scheduled. We have having to make the decision to have surgery or not to have surgery. This is a very big decision. The recovery time is 3 to 4 months either way, but we have to look at long term use of his arm. The CT scan will tell us if surgery will do much good. It depends on the gap between the bone where the fracture is. This should all occur this week. Either way we are looking at no work for Joey for a while. We know that God will provide for our needs, but pray that we have the patience to see God's will for our lives right now. Joey was fitted for a hinged arm brace so he looks like he has a bionic arm.
