Bed Rest

I know I should be letting you know how our trip went this weekend, but that will wait until tomorrow. I just wanted to give everyone the details of what is going on. This morning I woke up at 4 am. having contractions every 3 to 5 minutes. I finally woke Joey up and asked him to get me some water to see if that would help them to go away. It did not help much, but after an hour I was able to go back to sleep. Then I got up at 7 hoping that everything would be fine, but I was still having contractions about every 5 to 10 minutes which is a little better I guess. So, I called the Dr. and they said that they could work me in at 9:30, instead of my 4:00 appointment that I already had. That was good, now I just had to find someone to keep my kids at 9 instead of 4. Oh, and it was snowing outside, but thankfully the roads were clear because it had been so warm the day before. After getting the kids in the car and starting down the road not knowing where I was taking them, I got in touch with a lady from church that said she could keep them. What a blessing. I dropped the kids off and went to the Dr. All was good on the ultrasound she is right on track with the dates, so she is not too big which is great. Now she just wants to come early. Not a bad thing, but she is a little too ready right now. I am officially on bed rest until next Wednesday when I will be 35 weeks. Joey leaves in the morning, but Dad and Carolyn are coming in to help with the kids until Joey returns on Friday afternoon. I know that we can make it to Wednesday and hopefully a little longer. So please just pray that all goes well and that we are able to have a healthy baby. Thanks.
